Four Purchases, Four Days

Directions: Read the information given below and answer the questions that follow.

Four friends – Arun, Deepak, Farhan and Kiran – each bought exactly one of four items – a Camera, a Laptop, a Phone and a Watch – on four consecutive days from Monday to Thursday, one purchase per day. Each of them spent a different amount: Rs. 10,000, Rs. 20,000, Rs. 30,000 or Rs. 40,000.

1. Kiran spent Rs. 20,000.
2. The Watch was bought exactly two days after Deepak made his purchase.
3. Farhan spent Rs. 40,000 and made his purchase on Wednesday.
4. The Laptop was bought exactly one day before the item that cost Rs. 10,000.
5. Arun did not buy the Camera, and he did not make his purchase on Monday.
6. The Phone was bought on Tuesday.
7. Kiran bought the Laptop.
