90 questions in 120 minutes, across three sections — Quantitative Ability (short answer), Quantitative Ability (MCQ) and Verbal Ability — each on its own 40-minute clock, taken in that order. You cannot return to a section once its clock runs out. The section-wise counts have moved between years, so every paper here runs on its own year’s pattern rather than one averaged shape.
A correct MCQ scores +4 and a wrong one costs −1, so a blind guess across four options is worth nothing on average. The short-answer questions — the type-in-the-answer set — carry +4 for a correct answer and no penalty at all for a wrong one, which makes leaving one blank strictly worse than attempting it. Every mock here scores exactly this way.
Yes, and without an account. Each paper runs section by section on its own clock, in the real order, and closes a section when its time is up. You get a section-wise score, the correct answer to every question and a full solution review afterwards. Signing in only saves the attempt to your history and analysis.
We publish the papers as pages rather than PDFs, deliberately. On a page you can attempt each question, have it marked, read the worked solution and get the whole paper scored at the end — none of which a PDF does. Every question and solution is on the site, free.
They are the best thing to start with and not enough on their own. Six IPMAT Indore papers is about 540 questions — sizeable, but each topic appears only a handful of times, so a weak chapter gets exposed without giving you enough repetitions to fix it. The papers tell you what is asked and how hard; topic-wise tests and your own generated tests are what turn that into volume on the chapters you actually get wrong.
